• Nochmals die Evangelikalen in Ö1 2022-02-20
  Gestern habe ich mir die bereits angekündigte Sendung “Ekstatisch und asketisch” – Warum evangelikale Bewegungen so erfolgreich sind in der Ö1-Sendereihe Logos – Glauben und Zweifeln angehört. Hier sind ein paar Eindrücke.
• “Complete” Creedal Formulae? 2022-02-05
  The suggestion that creedal formulae must be complete implies that theology is valid only insofar as it penetrates every mystery, or to the extent that nothing remains hidden from it so  it can come up with complete formulations of truth. A brief caveat to an article by Peter Leithart.

  Es kommt immer wieder vor, daß Anschuldigungen von “Zensur” erhoben werden, vor Kurzem bezüglich eines Videoclips einer Predigt von Pastor John McArthur über “biblische Sexualtiät”, und ganz aktuell, weil etliche prominente Musiker ihre Musik von Spotify entfernt haben, weil Spotify auch dem kontroversen Podcaster Joe Rogan eine Plattform bietet. Aber was ist Zensur überhaupt?

• Die Taliban und “christliche Fundamentalisten” 2021-09-04
  Die säkulare Presse stellt öfters Vergleiche an zwischen konservativen Christen und radikalen Islamisten wie den Taliban. Ein Lieblingswort in diesem Zusammenhang ist Fundamentalismus. Das ist nicht sehr verwunderlich. Wohl verwunderlich, und extrem enttäuschend, ist es jedoch, wenn Christen bei diesem Spiel mitmachen.
