- Pastoring with a millstone around the neck? 2024-07-16There is a quote attributed to the English Reformer and martyr John Bradford who lived in the 16th century. While watching criminals being led to their execution Bradford is said to have exclaimed, “There but for the grace of God go I!”
- Sex vs Gender? 2024-07-03German child psychiatrist Dr. Korte does not consider gender identity to be genetically determined, but he does consider it to be real. However, for Christian theology, this is not really relevant. Theology is not based on genetics, but on God’s Word.
- Geschlecht vs Gender? 2024-07-03Kinderpsychiater Dr Korte hält Geschlechtsidentität nicht für genetisch bedingt, aber durchaus für real. Für die christliche Theologie ist das allerdings nicht wirklich relevant. Theologie geht nicht von Genetik aus, sondern von Gottes Wort.

- Kirchliche Gefängnisse für Mißbrauchstäter? 2021-07-31Der kirchliche Experten für Mißbrauchsprävention, Hans Zollner SJ, schlägt “kirchliche Gefängnisse” für (sexuelle) Mißbrauchstäter vor, wo diese nach Verbüßung ihrer Haftstrafe aufgenommen und weiter streng kontrolliert werden können, um eine Rückfälligkeit und damit Gefährdung der Gesellschaft zu verhindern. Das klingt interessant, aber ich habe meine Zweifel.
